Busy summer...

Blogger is being weird right now so I could only get these two pics on right now! These are of Sierra learning to go down the twisty thing at the playground while camping! Grandpa taught her how and she loved it. It made me a little nervous!
This summer has been so crazy busy! After we got back from Mexico we had a little bit before my mom and my nephew Devon came to visit from Virginia. We had a lot of fun just hanging out before my Sister and her son came as well! There was a big party for Sue (Ryan's mom) for her retirement/birthday as well as for Marilyn (Ryan's aunt) who also retired. That was fun, except Ryan couldn't be there. He has been fighting a wildfire since July 28! He is still there and will be done soon, probably Sunday. Although we miss him desperately and wish he could have visited with family while they were here, it is truly a blessing for him to be on a fire because he gets a significant amount of extra pay which we are using to pay off our credit cards. We don't know how they got so crazy, but it will feel so awesome to get them paid down or off! He has been working nights though, so he is kinda tired all the time! We were lucky and got to spend a little time with him last week here and there before and after he would sleep during the day.

My visiting family and Ryan's parents spent last weekend at Honeyman State park near Florence (Oregon Coast). It was a great time camping! My nephews and I got to go on a dunbuggy ride that was crazy fast. The driver described it as a rollercoaster on the dunes!!! And boy, it sure was! Devon has a blast but Jeromy wasn't too excited about it after it was over. It was a little rough and sandy to say the least! Honeyman was a great park to camp in though and there was great sand dunes to play on.

Well, I guess I will go until I have more time to write and post pictures!
