Christmas, no pics yet!

Christmas was so great this year. It is always great. On Christmas Eve we went to the early service at the church Ryan and I got married in. It was really nice and the girls got a little treat (candy canes!) Christmas morning was so fun with the girls and the whole family. We had us, Sierra & Kayleigh, Ryan's parents, Ryan's Grandma, my dad, Ryan's brother and his wife and her parents and later some more family friends came over. It was great having so many people. The girls had a blast opening presents and Kayleigh wanted to play with everything right away; it was so cute! I think the cutest thing was that Sierra had gone to the dollar store with grandma and bought everyone presents. Dusty got a really "cool" plastic watch but the cutest thing was that Sierra had gotten something for "Leah's Daddy" (Dusty's wife's dad). How thoughtful! We ate way too much at dinner and had great conversations with great family and friends. The day ended with visiting with more friends and family and then conking out to wake up the day after Christmas and play with all the toys again!

We definitely missed my side of the family, but getting to see them at Thanksgiving was nice. Next year we will be out in Tennessee/Virginia for Christmas, so we have that to look forward to!

Ryan doesn't have to go back to work until after New Year's!!! So that means we have a whole week left of his little vacation! We are planning on taking Sierra up to the mountain on Tuesday if the weather cooperates so she can learn to ski with Daddy and Grandpa! Ryan has been waiting for 3 years to take her up and he is really excited! Other plans for the week include visiting with friends, relaxing, and being maybe a little lazy...

Oh! I forgot to mention Sierra's big gift from Grandma and Grandpa; a jeep that runs and has a real radio! I will have to get pictures on here soon, you would think I'd have plenty of time to do it!! It cracks me up though because Sierra has a hard time steering the jeep and runs into everything, but she's learning!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! God bless, take care, and have a wonderful last few days in 2009!
